Ms. Chae graduated from Ewha Womans University, and worked as an executive for the IKEA Korea branch.
She is currently the co-representative of the Korean Restaurant in Seoul Hall, Canada, and the CEO of the Toronto catering industry, which currently operates Korean restaurants Hanbatang and Menami in North York.
She was elected to serve the postion as president for the 2020-2023 terms.
회장 채현주(CHAE)
KCBA 회장으로 선출된 채현주 대표는 1960년생으로 이화여대를 졸업하고 IKEA 한국 지사장을 거쳐 캐나다 서울관 한식당의 공동대표, 그리고 현재 영스트릿의 한바탕, 메나미 레스토랑을 운영 중인 토론토 요식업계의 대표 경영인입니다. 지난해 시청에서 주도한 BIKE LANE 설치 계획에 대해서도 번영회 측과 함께 적극적으로 나서서 이 부분이 잠정 연기되도록 하는데 기여를 한 바 있습니다.
